CAIRO – 9 April 2019: Moroccan club, Hassania Agadir’s manager, Miguel Gamondi, revealed on Monday that his team deserved the victory over Zamalek during their game at the CAF Confederation Cup quarter finals first leg held on Sunday night in Morocco.

“We dominated the game against Zamalek and we had many clear chances to score.” Gamondi said on Monday.

The home team was the better side in the game and had many clear chances to score. However, Zamalek secured a goalless draw thanks to their goalkeeper, Mahmoud Abdel Rahim known as Gennesh.

Gamondi added “We had a great game against an experienced team and we were so close many times to open the score.”

On the other hand, Zamalek manager, Christian Gross, believes that his team played a good game against a tough opponent in front of their enthusiastic fans.

Gross said“We did not play a defensive game. We faced a very good team and achieved a positive result before the second leg in Egypt.”

Zamalek will face the Egyptian League's fourth placed, Al Masry, on Thursday before hosting Hassania Agadir on Sunday in Suez.
