CAIRO – 30 March 2019: The referees committee of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has assigned the task of ruling Zamalek vs Al Ahly to the Romanian referee, Istvan Kovacs.

The postponed game from the Egyptian League's round 17 is set to kick-off at 07:00 p.m. on Saturday at Borg El Arab stadium.

The Romanian referee, 35 years-old, is an international referee since 2010. He ruled 24 games this season in all the competitions. Kovacks gave 123 yellow cards and 5 red cards.
