CAIRO, 23 February 2018: Smouha SC appoint on Saturday Hossam Hassan as a manager to follow former coach, Adel Abdel Rahman.


Hossam Hassan will be a manager for a year and a half with his brother, Ibrahim Hassan, as a football director, according to Smouha’s president, Farag Aamer, talks to Filgoal website.


The coaching staff accompanying to the veteran coach includes: Tarek Soliman (general coach), Tarek el Said and Hassan Mostafa (assistants), Emad El Mandouh (Goalkeepers coach), Walid Badr (Admin) and Mohamed Anan (head of Medical staff).


Smouha SC will be the third club for Hossam Hassan to manage this season after Al Masry and Pyramids FC.


Smouha started the season under the helm of Ali Maher before appointing Tarek Yehya then Adel Abdel Rahman.

Adel Abdel Rahman failed to achieve any victory as he managed four matches, two draws and two losses.


Alexandria’s second club is now in the 12nd place in the Egyptian league table standings with 25 points from 23 matches.


Smouha’s first match with Hossam Hassan will be against Ismaily on March 12.
