CAIRO – 4 June 2017: Zamalek football team bought Benjamin Acheampong from El-Dakhleya Club with an agreement of LE 5 million ($277,700) in the newsiest deal for Zamalek in the upcoming season.

Acheampong scored 10 goals this season with his previous club, and these 10 goals earned him recognition among the clubs in Egypt.

He has a strong body and is very fit despite being quite short, at only 166cm, and scores three of his 10 goals with his head. Acheampong is a striker who was born on the May 15, 1990 in Ghana and used to play for El-Dakhleya Club and the Ghanaian national team.

Previously, he joined Spanish club Coruxo FC at the beginning of the 2010 season and played until the end of the season.

In 2014, Acheampong was called up to join Ghana‘s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, but he declined.
