After 358 days, Gomaa returns to Al-Ahly squad

CAIRO – 23 January 2019: Al-Ahly Uruguayan manager, Martin Lasarte, unveiled on Wednesday that team's squad for the clash against Misr lel-Makkasa at the league at Borg El-Arab Stadium.

The squad included the team's play maker, Salah Gomaa, who appeared in the team's squad for the first time in Jan. 10, 2018 when Al-Ahly defeated Ismaily 1-0.

Al-Ahly will miss their veteran winger, Walid Soliman, who suffered an injury during the CAF Champions League game against Algerian club, JS Saoura and will be sidelined for two months.

The team will also miss their defender, Ayman Ashraf, who is suspended for accumulation of yellow cards.

Lasarte’s chosen squad for the game consists of:

Sherif Ekramy, Aly Lotfi, Mohamed el-Shenawi,

Defenders:
Ali Maaloul, Ahmed Alaa, Saad Samir, Mohamed Hany, Karim Nedved, Yasser Ibrahim, Mahmoud Wahid

Ahmed Hamoudi, Hamdy Fathy, Amr el-Solia, Saleh Gomaa, Hussein el-Shahat, Ramadan Sobhy, Nasser Maher, Mohamed Sherif, Mido Gaber
Striker:
Junior Ajayi

The game is scheduled to take place on Thursday at 5 p.m.
