CAIRO – 19 December 2018: Egypt international players, Mohamed Abdel Shafi and Abdallah el-Said, are spending their last days with Saudi giants, Al-Ahli, according to Saudi reports that expected the players to leave the club at the winter market.

“We have two tough games against Al-Hilal and Al-Wehda and we will evaluate the manager and the foreign players,” Al-Ahli Chairman, Majed Al-Nefaie, told press on Tuesday.

Al-Ahli squad includes seven foreign players and four of them are expected to leave the club. The four players are the Spaniards, Jose Juardo and Alexis Delgado, beside Said and Abdel Shafy.

Al-Ahli’s third defeat at the league came on Friday night when they lost 1-0 to Al-Shabab thanks to a late goal from Arthur Caíque.

“We met with the manager and the players after losing to Al-Shabab. We understand our fans’ feelings and we will try to return to the right track,” Nefaie added.

Al-Ahli picked 24 points at the league to stay at the fifth position; they are 8 points behind the leaders, Al-Hilal.
