CAIRO – 29 October 2018: The United Arab Emirates Football Association revealed on Monday that Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host the UAE national team in a friendly game against Egypt on November 20.

30K fans are expected to pack the stands to watch Egypt national team stars against UAE.

Al Nahyan Stadium, where Al Wahda plays their home games, was under construction to be ready for hosting the 2019 Asian Cup in January 2019, and its capacity was increased to 30k seats and was reopened on October 25 in the presence of Russian professional mixed martial artist Khabib Nurmagomedov.



Egypt will travel to the UAE on November 16 a day after their game against Tunisia in Alexandria at the African Cup of Nations’ Qualifiers.

Egypt has secured a qualification to the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, with two matches to spare.

Egypt’s national team Mexican-born manager, Javier Aguirre, revealed the 11 foreign-based players who will support the national team against Tunisia and the UAE.

Aguirre’s chosen players are Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Awad, Ahmed Hegazi, Mohamed el-Neny, Sam Morsy, Aly Ghazal, Ahmed el-Mohamady, Amr Warda, Amr Tarek, Hussein el-Shahat and Mahmoud ‘Trezeguet’ Hassan.

Olympiac striker, Ahmed ‘Koka’ Hassan, who was among Aguirre’s list for the last international duty, was ruled out of the game as he suffered an injury.
