Egypt to have Amr Tarek, Elneny ready for eSwatini clash

CAIRO – 15 October 2018: Egypt’s International players, Mohamed Elneny and Amr Tarek participated at the national team first training session in eSwatini and will be ready for the game on Tuesday.

Amr Tarek suffered an injury during the first game on Friday and left the pitch injured, while Elneny suffered from muscle fatigue after the game.

Ahmed Hegazi, who missed the first game for yellow card accumulation, is ready to support the national team on Tuesday, while Mohamed Salah will miss the game for injury.

Salah led the national team to defeat eSwatini 4-1 and scored the fourth goal in the last minute of the first half from a direct corner kick. Salah picked a muscle injury and left the pitch two minutes before the final whistle.



National team manager Javier Aguirre is expected to give a chance to many newcomers like Mohamed Sadek, Mohamed Hamdy and Mahmoud “Gennesh” Abdel Rahim.

Aguirre, who was appointed national team manager on August, led the national team to achieve two home victories over Niger 6-0 and eStwani 4-1.

Egypt plays in Group J alongside Tunisia, Niger and eSwatini and are at the second position at the group after two victories and a loss against Tunisia.
