CAIRO – 9 October 2018: Squash Egyptian legend, Nour el-Sherbini, qualified to the quarter-finals of the Squash U.S Open after an easy victory.

World’s No. 1, Sherbini, beat English Alison Waters 3-0 (11/6, 11/8,11/8) in a 31-minute game. Sherbini is set to face her 21-year-old compatriot, Yathreb Adel.

In the Men’s competition, Mohamed el-Shorbagy beat Indian Saurav Ghosal 3-0 (11/5,16/14,11/9). Shorbagy has to face Egyptian Aboul Ghar to reach the semi-final.

A large number of Egyptian squash stars compete in the Men and Women competitions, including three Squash players Ali Farag, Renim Al-Welily and Noran Gohar in the 2018 American Squash championship held in Philadelphia, USA, from October 6 to 13.
