Al-Ahly chases Esperance to dominate the lead

CAIRO – 28 July 2018: Al-Ahly led by French coach Patrice Carteron, will be facing Township FC of Botswana at 6 p.m. Cairo local time, at Botswana National Stadium based in the capital Gaborone.

This match will be among the second round matches of the group stage of CAF African Champions League, where Al-Ahly is second behind the leader Esperance of Tunisia with seven points and then the champion of Uganda, Kampala City, while Township occupies the bottom of the group with three points.

The eight-time CAF Champions League holder, Al-Ahly, has faced also Township, on July 17, in the first round of the group stage at Borg El-Arab stadium, where the Egyptian giant managed to defeat Botswana’s champion with three clean goals, without exerting a notable effort.

Al-Ahly announced on its official Twitter account, the starting squad for Township's match.
