CAIRO – 14 July 2018: Zamalek’s president, Mortada Mansour, assured that the Egyptian international, Mahmoud Abdel Razek ‘Shikabala’, better remain in Saudi Arabia rather than coming back to Zamalek.

"I contacted Shikabala and we solved all the misunderstanding points; everything is clear now. But in my opinion, it is better for him to play in Saudi Arabia next season as he may get a good contract," Mortada said to LTC channel.

On the other hand, Mortada revealed that he reached an agreement with Smouha’s president, Farag Aamer, to sign a defender from the Alexandrian club.

“I had a deal with Farag Aamer to include their defender, Yasser Ibrahim, next winter transfer market [January], as the squad list is full of all the 25 seats,” Mortada added.

Zamalek club has a training camp in Germany in preparation for the start of the new season early next month.
