CAIRO – 24 June 2018: Former Al-Ahly’s coach, Hossam el-Badry, pointed out that all details about Al-Ahram club will be announced on June 28.
Al-Assiouty Sport club was officially sold to a foreigner investor who changed its name to Al-Ahram club.
Badry preferred not to reveal whether he will be the president or a coach in the club.
“Al-Ahram is a sports service provider and a professional venue; they talk about how to use wealth in Egypt through young people and investors are keen to exploit Egypt's wealth for Egypt's own good," Badry said in an interview with MBC Masr channel.

Turki Al al-Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia's General Sports Authority, announced that there will be a surprise for the Egyptian fans by posting Badry’s photo on his official Facebook page. Many reports claim that Turki will be the new owner of Al-Ahram club.
“There is a special committee responsible for signing new players; I am a part of this committee alongside veteran players,” Badry added.
According to Filgoal website, Al-Ahram reached an agreement with Al-Masry, Enppi and Tanta to sign their players; Al-Masry’s left-back Mohamed Hamdy, Enppi’s Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Tanta’s left-back Mohamed Khaled.
Also, Al-Ahram club prefers to sign the Egyptian players playing in Saudi Arabia like Essam el-Hadary, Mohamed Awad, Shikabala and Abdallah Bakry.
“We are looking to play with tough clubs in our preparations for the Egyptian League,” Badry concluded.
