CAIRO – 14 June 2018: The technical meeting of the game between Egypt and Uruguay at the 2018 World Cup was held on Thursday.

Egypt national team director, Ehab Lehita, represented Egypt in the meeting.

It was decided that Egypt will wear their home kits at the game, while the South American team will play with the away kits.

Egyptian players will wear red shirts, black shorts and black socks, while the Egyptian goalkeeper’s kit will be all blue.

Uruguayan players will wear all white kits, while their goalkeeper will wear an all green kit.

The Egyptian delegation left Chechnya Capital, Grozny, on Wednesday afternoon to Yekaterinburg and they will return to Grozny after the game.




Egypt will train for the first time at the Central Stadium in Yekaterinburg on Thursday afternoon for the last test before the World Cup opener.

Egypt will face Uruguay on Friday at 2 p.m. (CLT) at their first game at the World Cup.

The World Cup draw put Egypt in Group A alongside Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and the host nation, Russia.

Egypt will appear at the World Cup for the third time in history and the first time since 1990.
