Midfielders:

The squad list for the Uganda trip is missing a number of players who returned to Cairo, such as Aly Lotfy and Hesham Mohamed, who have final exams in their universities; Mohamed Al-Gazzar, Akram Tawfeq and Amr Al-Saadawy, who are not registered on the team’s African list; Ayman Ashraf due to suspension; and Karim Karim Waild due to injury. Al-Ahly left back Aly Maaloul returned to his country Tunisia from the UAE because he wasn’t ready to participate with the team in the Champions League game.
