CAIRO – 7 May 2018: Borg Al-Arab stadium will witness a highly competitive clash between two historical rivals, Zamalek and Ismaily, on Monday at 7 p.m. at the semi-final of Egypt Cup.

Zamalek didn’t defeat Ismaily in the last four games between the two teams; Ismaily won two games and the other two ended by a draw. The most recent loss for Zamalek was in April; the game ended by a 3-1 victory for Ismaily.

Zamalek suffers from the absence of its first goalkeeper Ahmed al-Shenawy due to injury, and the second goalkeeper, Mahmoud Abdel Rahim, also known as Gennesh, will not play the game due to suspension. The young and talented, Omar Salah, will be Zamalek's goalkeeper in the game.

Zamalek will also miss the services of the team’s left back, Ahmed Fatooh, due to suspension as well, and it’s expected that Nigerian Maarouf Youssef will be Zamalek's left back in the game.
