CAIRO – 5 May 2018: Al-Ahly’s medical staff revealed the results of the injury examinations for midfielders Amr Al-Solaya and Walid Solaiman, after the two suffered from injuries in Al-Ahly’s match against the Tunisian team Esperance in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Solaya left the pitch early in the 32nd minute of the game held on Friday, which ended with a 0-0 draw. The medical staff announced that he’s suffering from tension in the front thigh muscle and that the player is supposed to be examined by X-ray to determine his recovery duration.

At the same time, the medical staff explained that Solaiman suffers from a bruise near the knee, after he was examined after the end of the game.

Al-Ahly had a 0-0 draw with Esperance in the first round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Ahly is facing a difficult situation with the large number of injured players from the team’s basic formation, as the injured list includes Ali Maaloul, Walid Azarou and Junior Ajaye.
