CAIRO – 25 April 2018: Chilean international Alexis Sanchez is having a great time with Manchester United, leading them to the FA Cup final.
Sanchez scored United’s first goal in their 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in the FA Cup semi-final.
“I think Saturday's match was the most perfect one since I joined United, and that makes me very happy for what lies ahead," Sanchez told MUTV.
Manchester United will face Chelsea in the final on May 19 at Wembley Stadium. Sanchez, who achieved the title twice with his former club, Arsenal, hopes to achieve his first trophy with the Red Devils.
Sanchez added, “We are very happy to have reached the final.”
The Chilean joined Manchester United in January from Arsenal in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to Arsenal.
Sanchez believes that he needs more time to adapt with the Red Devils. He said, “United is a big club, to which I am still adapting, and I am looking forward to giving everything I've got next year and aiming to win everything there is to win."
