CAIRO - 21 April 2018: Top Egyptian footballers in the Premier League, Mohamed Salah and Ahmed Hegazi, will face each other in the 35th round, as West Bromwich host Liverpool at The Hawthorns 1:30 p.m. Cairo local time (CLT).

Liverpool, now in third place with 70 points behind Manchester United who have 74 points, will try to get closer to the second place and benefit from Man United’s slip in front of West Brom last week.

Mohamed Salah will benefit in leading Liverpool to another victory, as it will give the team a positive enhancement before its Champions League semi-final against AS Roma scheduled for next Tuesday at the Anfield, Liverpool’s home stadium.

While Hegazi’s mission in today’s match is to prevent the massive attacking waves of Liverpool’s trio Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and Salah, the Egyptian forward who is the current PL top scorer with 30 goals. West Bromwich will enter the game with high morale after last week’s victory against Manchester United,; the game is expected to be extremely competitive with a high level of football being played.

It is worth mentioning that West Brom have another Egyptian defender, Ali Gabr, who joined the team in the winter transfer window on a short-loan contract from Zamalek, terminating at the end of the season.

West Brom is on its way to be relegated, as the team is on the bottom of the standing tables of the Premier League with 24 points.
