CAIRO – 14 April 2018: Mohamed Salah led his team, Liverpool, to achieve an important 3-0 win over Bournemouth in the 34th round, settling his team in third place in the Premier League’s table standings.

Sadio Mane took the lead in the 7th minute after putting the ball in the left corner. Salah doubled the score in the 69th minute by placing a “lob” by his head in a brilliant way. In the 89th minute, Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino ended Bournemouth’s hopes and secured victory for Liverpool with the third goal.

With Salah’s 30th goal this season, he widened the gap to five goals between him and Tottenham’s Harry Kane in the Premier League’s top scorer race. He also achieved many records by this goal, as follows:

1- Salah is the first African player in history to score 30 goals in a single Premier League season.

2- Salah is only the eighth player in history to score 30 goals in a 38-game Premier League season, with still a little over four games to go for the Egyptian.

3- Salah is the first Premier League player to score 40+ goals across all competitions in a single season since Cristiano Ronaldo (42) in 2007/08.

4- Salah scored or assisted in eight successive home matches and eight of his last nine GW starts overall.
