Egyptian delegation at World Para: Powerlifting World Cup collects 4 gold

CAIRO – 6 May 2017: Weightlifter Rehab al-Wafa claimed gold in the Women’s up to 73 kilograms category at the 2017 World Para Powerlifting World Cup in Eger, Hungary.

The Egyptian delegation managed to claim an overall total of four gold medals after the trio of Taha Adel, Mohammed Sobhy and Jihan Gharib prevailed as champions earning first place in their respective categories.

The World Para Power-lifting World Cup is currently taking place in Hungary, from May 4 to 7.
