CAIRO – 11 April 2018: Tersana hosts Nogoom El-Mostakbal at Hassan El-Shazly Stadium in Mohandiseen, Giza Wednesday afternoon in Group B of the Egyptian second division.
The hosts seek to achieve victory in order to win promotion to the Egyptian League first division after nine years of absence.
Tersana leads the group with 56 points, one point ahead of Nogoom El-Mostakbal.
Tersana had an amazing season this year, as they have achieved 17 victories, five draws and only four losses.
Security officials refused Tersna’s request to increase their fans from 150 to 300.
Tersana is one of seven teams to have previously achieved the Egyptian League title, having won it in 1962.
On the other hand, El-Gouna has a chance to secure their promotion to the Egyptian League first division when they face Alsalam Esna in Group A of the Egyptian second division on Wednesday.
El-Gouna needs to achieve victory in the game in order to celebrate promotion, as they lead the group five points clear, with two games left before the end of the season.
