CAIRO - 9 April 2018: Finnish club, Kuopion Palloseura, announced on Monday that Al-Ahly attacking midfielder, Abdallah el-Said joined the club on a loan from Al-Ahly for 60 days.

Said will play for Kuopion Palloseura for the next two months to get ready for his participation with the national team at the World Cup in Russia.

Said chose to play at the Finnish League as the transfer window is still open in Finland and the Finnish teams can add players to their squads.
Said was a key player at Al-Ahly since he joined the club in 2011 but the club board decided to freeze him as he signed for Al-Ahly rivals, Zamalek, before renewing his contract with Al-Ahly.

Said is the second Egyptian player to play at the Finnish League after Amr Gamal who joined HJK Helsinki in March.

The Finnish League started on Saturday April 7, and Said’s new team played on Sunday against Honka; the game ended with a 1-1 draw.

Said is expected to join Saudi Arabian club, Ahli Jeddah, in the next season, according to the club’s chairman, Torky bin Mohamed.
