CAIRO – 5 May 2017: The Arab Champions League draw will be drawn Friday by the President of the Arab Football Federation, Prince Turki Bin Khalid. The Ceremony will witness the attendance of the leaders of the 12 clubs participating in the tournament. The tournament will be held in a single round, with the first of each group and the second best in the semi-finals.

The Organizing Committee of the Championship finished the final preparations for the ceremony and performed the last rehearsals Thursday at the pyramids. Zamalek, Al Ahly, Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr, Al-Weheda, Al-Tariji , Al-Marekh , Faisal, Al-Naft Eleraqi, Al-Rabat ,Nasr Hussein Dai and Al-Ahd clubs will all participate in the championship. The 12 teams will be divided into three groups, each with four clubs.

The draw will be screened by ONTV sports channels and Abu Dhabi sports channels. The FIFA Organizing Committee has invited international sports personalities such as FIFA President Gianni Ivantaino, Confederation of African Football President Ahmed Ahmed, President of the Asian Federation Sheikh Salman Al Khalifa and Chairman of the Asian Olympic Council Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahd in addition to a number of football stars who will participate in the draw.

The organizing committee has allocated five hotels with 1,000 rooms for delegations and clubs participating in the tournament, as well as preliminary arrangements and agreements with several airlines and transport companies. Prince Turki Bin Khalid, President of the Arab Football Federation, has been keen on the return of the Arab Football Federation to prominent championships
