CAIRO - 1 April 2018: Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic was presented as the new player of Los Angeles Galaxy in a press conference where he declared that he was born old and will die young like Benjamin Button, the famous character from Brad Pitt’s movie" The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".

"The 'lion' is hungry," he said in reference to his nickname comparing himself to the fictitious character that ages in reverse.

"I feel young, I feel like Benjamin Button. I was born old and I will die young," Ibrahimovic said in the conference ahead of Saturday's match against their new cross town rivals Los Angeles FC.

Zlatan had a great debut with LA Galaxy on Saturday as he scored two goals, including the winning goal that he scored just before the final whistle. LA Galaxy ended the thrilling match with a 4-3 victory.

Zlatan arrived in Los Angeles after being released by Manchester United on March 22.

"Don't worry about my age; when I came to England they all said I was old. I came in a wheelchair and after three months I conquered England; then they said I was flying," he said.

Zlatan assured with intensity that he didn’t come to the United States to retire.

"If they don't know me, I will make sure that they know me," he said with a grin.
