CAIRO – 4 May 2017: The new President of Confederation of African Football (CAF) Ahmed Ahmed will visit the Parliament, Thursday to discuss the new sports law draft, which is expected to be approved soonest, Farag Amer, Chairman of the Parliament’s Sports and Youth Committee said Wednesday.

Amer, who is also the president of Smouha Club, said in press remarks that Parliament’s Speaker Ali Abdel Aal invited Ahmed to visit the Parliament in order to listen to his remarks over the new sports law before it is given the final nod, adding that, “he expressed happiness over the Parliament’s invitation.”

Amer also added that Hany Abou Rida, the Egyptian Football Association President will accompany Ahmed in his visit and is expected to deliver a speech before the Parliament on means to develop the Sports’ sector.
