Al-Ahly postpones appearing with new jersey

CAIRO – 26 March 2018: Sayed Abdel Hafiz, Al-Ahly football director, decided to postpone the appearance of the team’s new jersey, which was scheduled to be worn Tuesday in the friendly game against Al-Fujairah in the team’s celebration of the golden jubilee.

Al-Ahly received an invitation to participate in the celebration of the passing of 50 years since Al-Fujairah was established, and decided to celebrate itself with the new design and wear it in the game. However, Al-Ahly’s officials decided to postpone wearing the new jersey because Al-Fujairah will wear its red shirt in the friendly game, and because Al-Ahly’s officials wanted to start with their first classical red one as well.


Al-Ahly will wear its new jersey in the next game in the Egyptian Premier League, which will be against Tanta on the 30th round of the tournament.


Al-Ahly’s official website posted several pictures of its players wearing the new designs, adding that this time the team will have a third shirt, not only ones for home and away games.
