CAIRO – 26 March 2018: The Argentinean midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain, Javier Pastore, revealed his opinion about Neymar’s case in an interview.

"I do not think he will leave," Pastore told Spanish radio station Onda Cero. "I see it more as a media game than his real desire."

"When Neymar arrived he was very enthusiastic. This club is not Barcelona yet; playing in Spain is not the same as playing in these stadiums [Ligue 1]." He added.

Paris St. Germain was eliminated from the 16th round of the UEFA Champions League after Real Madrid won 5-2 on aggregate.

"We played better than Real Madrid at the Bernabéu stadium, but they scored two goals that changed everything [Madrid won 3-1 in the first game], but we must not look for excuses," he explained.

The 28-year-old has not been called by Jorge Sampaoli for the friendly games against Italy and Spain.

Referring to his departure from the club during the next transfer market, Pastore said, "My cycle in Paris is coming to an end; we will see for my future. I still have a year on my contract.”

"I do not have clear ideas yet. I do not know how it will end. I will focus on the end of the season to finish this year well. You have to try to win the championship and the cups,” he concluded.

Pastore was the first major signing of the Qatari owners of PSG from Palermo. His luxurious salary, €700,000 per month, may be a problem for his departure in this winter market, which closes on Wednesday, because no other club would pay him the same salary.
