Egypt played a good game against the European champions led by Cristiano Ronaldo. They were solid at defense and were able to pass the ball and control the game. Portugal were dangerous and they made several chances, but they were cleared by the Egyptian defense. The more experienced Portugal scored twice through Ronaldo in the additional time, which served as an alert for the Egyptian players to concentrate until the end of the game.

Egypt failed to create many chances on the Portuguese goalkeeper but they managed to keep the opponent's strikers away from their area. Good game from Egypt but Cuper needs to make changes on the attacking line.
