File – Messi wear Argentina national team away kit in the World Cup
CAIRO – 20 March 2018: Adidas Soccer revealed on Tuesday the away jerseys that will be worn by the national teams during their participation in the World Cup in Russia, which starts in less than three months.
The away kits for the title holders, Germany, were inspired by their away kits in the 1990 World Cup in Italy when they defeated Argentina in the final to achieve the title.
Lionel Messi displayed the away kits for the Argentina national team. Messi holds the Argentinean people’s dream of achieving the World Cup.
Adidas also revealed the away kits of the Russian national team, which plays in group A with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.
Colombia’s away kits were displayed by James Rodriguez, while the Mexican kits were displayed by Javier Hernández, known as Chicharito.
Adidas also revealed the away kits of Japan, Belgium, Sweden and Spain.
The Egyptian national team’s kits for the 2018 World Cup in Russia were also revealed by Adidas. This year’s tournament brings an end to 28 years of absence for the team, as they last played in the World Cup in 1990 in Italy.
