CAIRO – 15 March 2018: The World Cup trophy arrived at the headquarters of Al-Manara center during the cultural seminar of the Armed Forces in the presence of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.
The President lifted the World Cup trophy in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Khaled Abdel Aziz.

On Thursday morning, the World Cup plane arrived at Cairo airport as part of the Cup promotion campaign “FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour” by Coca-Cola, which includes 91 cities and 51 countries on six continents under the supervision of the International Federation of Football (FIFA).

The World Cup arrived at Cairo airport accompanied by French football star Christian Karembeu and his delegation amid intensive media presence, to complete the rest of the promotional ceremony of the event.

President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi wished that Egypt can perform well in the next tournament to bring joy to all the Egyptian people.
Egyptian national team coach Hector Cuper and goalkeeper Essam el-hadary alongside Hazem Emam, EFA member, attended the ceremony as a representatives of the Egyptian team.

The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola is a rare opportunity for fans to see the original trophy up close and have their experience captured with a photograph. It’s an exciting and exclusive experience since the Trophy is otherwise only displayed at the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich, during the FIFA World Cup Final Draw and at the final match of every FIFA World Cup.
