CAIRO – 26 February 2018: Wolverhampton Wanderers known as Wolves failed to achieve a single victory in three consecutive games at the English Championship for the first time this season.

Wolverhampton have ended two games against Preston North End and Norwich City with a draw before losing 2-0 on Saturday night to Fulham.

Wolves have been leading the Championship table the whole season under their Portuguese manager, Nuno Espírito Santo.
They are the team with the most victories and least losses this season at the championship and everyone was confident that they will win a promotion to the Premier League next season but this confidence turned into doubt after the last three games.

Wolves are still leading the table with 73 points, only six points ahead of the second placed, Cardiff City, which is not a comfortable gap for the fans who hope to see their team again at the Premier League after six years of absence.

Wolves still have tough games to come against the second placed, Cardiff City, the third placed, Derby County and the fourth placed, Aton Villa, who have a big chance to win direct promotion to the Premier League especially with the wolves' setback.

The top two teams at the Championship table win a direct promotion to the Premier League while the teams from the third to sixth places play the championship play-offs and the winner joins the top two teams at the Premier League.
