CAIRO – 14 January 2018: Philippe Coutinho’s signing with Barcelona has caused many moves in Liverpool.

The Brazilian midfielder was one of the most important players of the English team, and Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp wants a luxury substitute in this winter market. The chosen one is RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita.

Liverpool reached an agreement with RB Leipzig last summer for the Guinean midfielder to transfer to the English team next summer in exchange for €75 million ($91.5 million).

The problem is that Klopp wants to include him in his squad earlier. Therefore, they are trying to negotiate with the German team to accept losing their young star in exchange for an extra €15 million on top of the agreed €75 million.

Leipzig coach Oliver Mintzlaff said, "There are contracts that say that his job starts in Liverpool on July 1."

It shows clearly that he intends to keep his young star until the end of the season.
