CAIRO – 12 January 2018: Egyptian winger Hussein El Shahat led his team, Al-Ain, to defeat Al-Wasl 3-1 in the Emirati Classico on Friday after he scored the third goal of the game.

Shahat started the game on the bench and watched his teammates score two goals before he entered the pitch 20 minutes before the final whistle to score the third goal and secure his team’s victory.

Al-Ain opened the score after 20 minutes through their defender Ismail Ahmed, who met a cross from Omar Abdel Rahman (known as Amouri) to open the score for his team.

In the second half, Amouri added the second goal for his team from a free kick, making the score 2-0.

Shahat replaced Marcus Berg in the 71st minute and managed to score his first goal from a counter attack after only seven minutes to make the score 3-0.

Al-Wasl scored their only goal in the game in the last minute through Caio Canedo to end the game 3-1.
