US congratulates Egypt on winning three CAF awards

CAIRO - 5 January 2018: The US Embassy in Cairo on Friday congratulated Egypt for winning three of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) awards for 2017.

The embassy said on its twitter account " Congratulations to Mohamed Salah, Egypt's National Team, and Coach Hector Cuper for winning the CAF Awards for 2017!"

On Thursday, Egyptian player Mohammad Salah won the best African player award, coach Hector Cuper, won the best coach, while Egypt's national football team won the best African national team at 2017 CAF awards ceremony that was held in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.
