CAIRO – 3 January 2018: El-Gaish’s captain, Salah Amin, dribbled three Zamalek defenders to score a goal and give his team a victory over Zamalek at the Egyptian League.

The game was played on Wednesday night at the Air Defense Stadium. The former commander-in-chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, watched the game from the stands.

Zamalek lost their fourth game this season in the league, and they failed to prove their strength ahead of the Cairo Derby on Monday against Al Ahly.

El-Gaish had the upper hand in the game, and the strategy of their manager, Helmy Toulan, proved solid. His players managed to trouble Zamalek’s defense and stop all Zamalek strikers’ attempts to score.

The master scene in the game came from Amin, when he received the ball in the left flank and dribbled three defenders to open the score in the game.

Amin was the best player in the game, and he helped release Zamalek pressure from El-Gaish’s defense. He was substituted in the last minute of the game and earned applaud from the El-Gaish bench.

With 22 points, El-Gaish are in the 9th place in the league. Meanwhile, Zamalek remains at the fourth position, with 28 points.
