CAIRO – 28 December 2017: Al-Ahly manager, Hossam El Badry, decided to train twice in Abu Dhabi, UAE on January 10 and 11 before travelling to Al-Ain to face El-Masry at the Egypt Super Cup on January 12. Al-Ahly will fly to UAE on January 9.

The game is scheduled for January 12 at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al-Ain, UAE.

Al-Ahly qualified to the Super Cup after winning the Egyptian League and Egypt Cup last season, while Al-Masry qualified after being the Egypt Cup runner-up.

Al-Ahly Assistant Manager, Ahmed Ayoub, calmed Al-Ahly fans after the poor results in the Egyptian league, “The players are doing their best to get over this period. We are on the right track despite missing points at the last games. Winning the league is our main goal.”

Al-Ahly lost seven points in the last four games in the Egyptian league. They lost to Misr El-Makasa, ended two games with a draw against Tanta and Wadi Degla and defeated Smouha 2-1.
