Al-Ahly and Atletico to stay at same hotel

CAIRO - 26 December 2017: Al-Ahly and Atletico Madrid will stay at the same hotel in Borg Al- Arab city in Alexandria, before their friendly match scheduled for Saturday, under the slogan “Peace against Terrorism” .

Atletico is scheduled to arrive at Borg Al-Arab Airport on December 29 on a private plane and amid tight security, according to Al-Ahly’s letter to the Egyptian Interior Ministry.

Mahmoud al-Khatib, the president of Al-Ahly, held a meeting with Sherine Shams, the excutive director of Al-Ahly, to discuss several issues related to the match, such as the situation of the invited Arab and Egyptian players who will participate in the match, in addition to the VIP guests. Al-Ahly received the approval of the security authorities to allow 60,000 fans to attend the match.
