CAIRO – 25 December 2017: Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Head Coach of Wadi Degla, is one of the names among the new football committee of Zamalek SC, which is expected to form during the upcoming period in Zamalek, after a decision by the Board of Directors to form a new football committee.

Zamalek president, Mortada Mansour, announced that Ismail Youssef, a Member of the Board of Directors of the club and the supervisor of the football team, will be responsible for forming the new football committee during the upcoming period, Super Kora reported.

Mido, a former Zamalek player, had led Zamalek coaching staff two times, the first time was from January 22, 2014 to July 29, 2014. After he was sacked for the first time, Mortada Mansour gave him the position of the Director of the Youth Department in Zamalek SC until he left the team in July 2015 to take charge of Ismaily SC choaching staff, according to Transfer Markt.

Then, he returned to lead the Zamalek football team for the second time, starting from January 4, 2016. This was the first time to include Hazem Imam, who is one of the legends of Zamalek club in the coaching staff.

It is worth noting that Zamalek Club tends to change its coaching staff very quickly after any bad results.

Mortada Mansour decided to sack both of the club’s legends, Mido and Imam, after only one month taking charge of the team.
