CAIRO – 7 April 2017: Retired Portuguese footballer Augusto Inácio officially signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with Egyptian football club Zamalek, Club Chairman Mortada Mansour revealed Friday,

according to Youm7.



The signing ceremony of the USD 40,000 contract was attended by Mansour and board member Ahmed Mortada.

After a long career as a football player, 62-year-old Inácio started coaching in 1990 with the Portuguese club Rio Ave.

Inácio succeeds Coach Mohamed Helmy, who has been coaching the club since 2016, after Scottish Alex McLeish had been dismissed, following a series of poor scores.
