CAIRO – 22 December 2017: Inter Milan club does not want a future without their most wanted striker, Mauro Icardi.

For several months, different clubs have shown their interest in the striker, and consequently, Nerazzurri – Inter Milan`s nickname – is thinking of reacting to these advances.

The last club to claim the star of Inter Milan was Real Madrid. Icardi has been observed by the White team on different occasions and now it seems that Florentino Pérez, Real Madrid`s president, wants to bring him to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the winter market or, in the worst case scenario, the summer market. Obviously, this worried the Italian club.

However, the Argentina striker already said he has no intention of signing for Real Madrid, but Inter Milan continues to keep Icardi in their ranks.

The Malaysian president of Inter Milan, Erick Thohir, is preparing a new contract to ensure the striker remains at San Siro.

The new agreement would be signed in January, and the plan for Icardi is to continue until at least 2023.

As planned, the forward will charge $7 million per season and will have a termination clause of €130 million ($154 million).

With this strategy, Icardi would be out of reach for Madrid and any other teams.

Inter Milan's sports director, Piero Ausilio, also made it clear that his star is not for sale, saying, "Icardi is happy at Inter; he wants to stay here for a long time and win. We will not move from this position", according to Italian press.
