CAIRO – 18 December 2017: Pep Guardiola has earned the respect and admiration of everyone in the Premier League after breaking the record in England by achieving 16 consecutive victories with Manchester City.

It is not surprising that the most illustrious names of the Premier League are praising the Catalan coach.

One of them is former English international Frank Lampard, who currently serves as a commentator for the BT Sport television channel.

After the Manchester City`s (4-1) victory against Tottenham, Lampard expressed his admiration for what Guardiola is getting with the 'Citizens,' Manchester City`s nickname.

"What I like about Guardiola is that he had some incredible players at Barcelona who were already there and that he went to Bayern Munich to train in the best team in the league, but when he arrived here, City was not the best team and now he's very ahead of the others and playing in a way that we had never seen before, " summed up the former Chelsea.
