CAIRO – 17 December 2017: Arsenal has decided to sell its striker Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window, the Daily Mail reported Saturday.

The newspaper said, quoting sources within the Arsenal club, that there is still hope to convince German international midfielder Mesut Ozil to sign a new contract in the next few weeks.

Sanchez will definitely be made to leave Arsenal in the winter transfer market because the club wants to take advantage of him financially rather than him leaving for free next summer.

As such, Arsenal has been unable to reach an agreement with the Chilean international player about the renewal of his contract. These sources might hint to Sanchez’s unyielding personality.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are both looking to sign Sanchez next month amid reports that Real Madrid is entering the deal with the Chilean star.
