CAIRO – 17 December 2017: Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho talked about a possible departure of several players from his team during the next transfer window because he refused to stand in the way of any unhappy player.

Mourinho told the media about the possible departure of some of his players in January, saying, “If there is an unhappy player in the team, and if he can secure the right offer, then I will not stand in his way and I will allow him to leave.”

The Daily Mirror put six players on the departures list for January, most notably the Armenian Henrik Mkhitaryan, who only entered the starting line-up once in the last eight games of United.

Luke Shaw is second on the list because he does not have Mourinho’s confidence, and his contract expires at the end of this year.

Daley Blind is one of the players who threatened to leave United because his contract expires next summer, and he has not been given the opportunity to play in the English Premier League since August.
