CAIRO – 15 December 2017: Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been awarded with the EA Sports Player of the Month award of November.

Salah is the first Egyptian to win this award in the English Premier League.

Salah netted seven goals in four games for Liverpool in November. He scored twice against West Ham, Southampton and Stoke City and also scored Liverpool’s only goal in the (1-1) draw against his former team, Chelsea.

The 25-year-old is currently the Premier League’s top scorer with 13 goals so far this season. The winner of the award is decided through a combination of votes from a panel of experts, Premier League captains and the fans, according to the Premier League website.

Salah was interviewed by the Premier League official website after achieving the award.

“Yes in this month I scored seven goals; it’s a good feeling. But for me, as I said before, the most important thing is the result. We had some good results in November and this month also, in December, we try to win each game,” Salah said.

Mohamed Salah has also been chosen by fans to win Liverpool’s “Player of the Month” award for November, making it his third win in just four months.

Mohamed Salah also won the BBC’s “African Footballer of the Year Award” on Monday. He received the award from his manager, Jurgen Klopp.
