CAIRO – 12 December 2017: A great squash match is expected to be held on Tuesday evening at 9:00 p.m. (CLT) between Mohamed El-Shorbagy and Ramy Ashour in the 16th round of the Squash World Championship, which takes place in Manchester, England.

This game is considered one of the biggest games in the world of squash, as both players met on eight occasions before; two of them were in the final of the World Championship.

Ashour`s many injuries descended him in the world rankings, which resulted in this early clash between the Egyptian champions.

Ashour achieved the World Championship title three times before – out of eight Egyptian titles – while Shorbagy placed second twice against Ashour.

Shorbagy places second in the world squash rankings, after he had a great season by achieving four titles out of five held this season.

Meanwhile, Ashour places 17th in the world squash rankings due to injuries. He achieved the China Open tournament title, but he lost early in the Hong Kong Open.
