CAIRO – 10 December 2017: Press reports revealed that Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in joining one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga this season.

Scouts moved on to follow the performance of Augsburg defender Philipp Max, 24, who won the silver medal with the German team at the Rio de Janeiro 2016.

English clubs have been interested in Max because of his impressive performances in the Bundesliga since the start of the season.

Augsburg is currently eighth in the Bundesliga, while Max is currently the top in making assists with 7 assists, although he is a defender but has played a big role in the great start of this season for his team.

According to Daily Mail, the German left-back is watched by the three Premier League giants in an attempt to strengthen their squad in January, while Everton reportedly also sent a scout to watch the young man.

Philippe Max, who has not yet played for Germany, renewed his contract with Augsburg until the summer of 2022 earlier this year.
