Al Ahly women's volleyball team facing Zamalek - YOUM7/Mohamed El Hossary

CAIRO - 30 March 2017: Al Ahly Women’s Volleyball team will face its Zamalek counterpart Thursday afternoon in the semi-final round of the Egyptian Volleyball Cup Championship.

The game will be played at 4 p.m. at the Police Union Hall in Cairo. Wadi Degla volleyball team will play the Horse Owners Club of Alexandria in the same hall at 6 p.m.

The winners of the two matches will compete for the cup in the final round on Friday at 6 p.m., while the losers will face each other at 4 p.m. the same day.

The Egyptian Volleyball League was suspended due to the participation of the national team in the 2017 African Club Championship for women due to be held in April in Tunisia.

On March 27, Egypt’s Al-Ahly team was crowned 2017 African club champions after defeating the Tunisian Etoie du Sahel team, according to the
