Egypt wins Young Arab Boxing Championship title

CAIRO - 9 March 2017: Egypt claimed the Arab Under-18 Youth Boxing Championship title following its table-topping medals haul, with an overall total of nine medals,

The under-18 Egyptian team managed to claim nine medals - four gold, four silver and one bronze - during the champion's roundups that took place at the Olympic Center in Maadi, south of Cairo.

The Algerian team finished second with seven medals, two gold, three silver and two bronze, and Tunisia came in third with five medals: two gold and three bronze.

The Best Boxer Award went to Tunisian Haitham Fekry, while Emirati Fahd El Khawly won the Sportsmanship Award.
