CAIRO – 4 December 2017: Sayed Abdel Hafiz, Al-Ahly`s football director, has decided to impose a fine on Saleh Gomaa, Al-Ahly's playmaker, as a punishment for his absence without permission from the reserves team`s training.

Al-Ahly has approved a new set of penalties for its players, so as to ensure more discipline with regard to those excluded from the lists of matches.

It states that any player who is absent from the training will be subject to a fine of LE 100,000 ($5,655), according to the new regulation.

Al-Ahly continued their amazing run in the Egyptian League, defeating Enppi 4-1 on Saturday night at Cairo Stadium.
