CAIRO – 30 November 2017 : Egypt National Team midfielder, Mohamed El-Neny, participated in a promotional video for the 2018 World Cup ahead of the World Cup draw on Friday.
The promotional video included 32 players from the teams heading to the 2018 World Cup; each player congratulated one of the qualifiers.
El-Neny congratulated Iceland in Icelandic. “Congratulations Iceland, See you in Russia,” He said.
Congratulating Egypt in Arabic was the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski who said, “Congratulations Egypt, See you in Russia.”
The video included many great players like Neymar Jr., Toni Kroos, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Congratulations to all the national teams who made it to the World Cup, I hope the Championship will be enjoyable for all the players and fans. I’m so excited for the World Cup draw tomorrow." El-Neny posted on his twitter account on Thursday.
El-Neny played a vital part in Egypt’s campaign to qualify to 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The World Cup draw will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM (Cairo Local Time) at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia.
